Building Together: Inside the Vibe-Coding Workshop in Amsterdam

A few weeks ago, we hosted another Vibe-Coding Workshop in Amsterdam — and wow, what a day that was! ❤️✨
The energy, collaboration, and creativity in the room reminded me why I started this movement in the first place.

What Is Vibe-Coding?

Vibe-Coding is about building with flow — combining AI tools, creativity, and human collaboration to turn ideas into reality faster.

It’s not about perfection; it’s about momentum. It’s about discovering how far we can go when we stop overthinking and start experimenting together.

In this workshop, our goal was simple: go from idea to prototype in one day, using AI-powered tools like Lovable.
We didn’t just talk about innovation — we built it.

Workshop Flow

🧭 Kickoff & Inspiration
We started with quick introductions and a look at how no-code and AI tools are reshaping the way we build. Everyone shared what they wanted to create — from personal projects to community ideas.

💡 Ideation Session
Teams explored real-world challenges, defined their users, and mapped early ideas. The wall filled with colorful notes, sketches, and “what if” moments.

☕ Coffee Break
Ten minutes of caffeine and spontaneous brainstorming.

⚙️ Rapid Prototyping
Using Lovable and other AI-powered builders, participants moved from concept to prototype.
Some created landing pages, others built interactive demos — all in just a few hours.

🍽️ Lunch & Peer Reviews
We paused to share progress, give feedback, and swap inspiration. It felt like a co-creation studio.

🚀 Showcase & Reflection
Each group demoed their project. From playful apps to functional prototypes — the results were as diverse as the people behind them.

The Energy in the Room

The vibe was electric.
Strangers became teammates, curiosity replaced hesitation, and by the end of the day everyone had something real — and something theirs.

It wasn’t a workshop. It was a creative jam session — powered by AI, curiosity, and connection.
